Introduction to the Great Perfection Path

The practice of "The Great Perfection Preliminaries" originates from "Longchen Nyingthig."

"Longchen Nyingthig" is the mind treasure of Master Jigme Lingpa, which transmits and gathers the essence of all the Nyingthig teachings of Longchenpa. The master passed it on to the Tathagata Essence, who then transmitted it to the Wisdom Buddha. After listening to the teachings multiple times, the Wisdom Buddha transcribed the master's words into text, resulting in today's "The Progression of the Great Perfection."

This guide is a treatise on guiding practice, holding an extremely important position in Tibetan Buddhism. Since its composition, it has been highly esteemed by the masters and great beings of various sects and has been widely propagated.

The texts are filled with practical tips, which is why people eagerly study them. Buddhism has a common understanding: practice relies on these tips; without them, there is no way to practice.
